Privacy first. A static site may still use browser storage and a
hosting provider. This notice describes those possibilities without assuming
the website collects accounts or uploads scores.
1. Overview
This Privacy Notice explains the kinds of information that may be handled
when visitors use this independent, static educational website, including quiz
features, browser settings, website hosting, and voluntary contact messages.
Important: The description should reflect the website’s actual
implementation. Before public launch, verify whether your quiz code sends
responses to a server and whether analytics, embedded media, forms, or external
scripts are used.
2. Website Operator and Contact
The Platform is independently maintained by its student website
administrator, not by an educational institution. For privacy requests or
questions, contact:
Privacy contact: Deadlift145@gmail.com

sensitive personal information. Do not submit passwords, school ID numbers,
medical records, or other sensitive details in messages unless genuinely
necessary and requested through an appropriate secure process.
4. Quiz Data and Browser Storage
Some quiz implementations use browser memory, localStorage, or
similar browser functionality for answers, progress, retakes, and interface
preferences. Data stored only in the browser generally remains on that device
unless a separate feature transmits it elsewhere.
Visitors can typically delete this data through an in-site reset feature
(if provided) or their browser’s “Clear site data” controls. Clearing local
data may erase saved answers and preferences.
This page’s optional theme button uses browser local storage to remember
the chosen appearance when storage is available.
5. Hosting and Third-Party Services
Even when a website consists only of static HTML, visiting it sends a
request to the hosting provider. Hosting and infrastructure providers may
process technical information under their own policies. If the website is
hosted on GitHub Pages, GitHub’s applicable privacy documentation should also
be consulted.
If analytics, embedded videos, external fonts, advertisements, account
systems, online forms, or cloud scoreboards are added, this notice must be
revised to identify the relevant services and data practices before use where
required.
6. Purposes and Legal Basis
Information may be processed as reasonably necessary to deliver web pages
and requested quiz features, maintain security, honor preferences, and respond
to voluntarily submitted inquiries. The applicable legal basis depends on the
specific processing activity and relevant law; consent should be requested
separately where legally necessary.
This notice is meant to provide transparency. It does not turn ordinary
website browsing into blanket consent for unrelated personal-data processing.
7. Data Retention and Security
Locally stored quiz or theme data may remain on a device until it is
deleted, replaced, or cleared by the browser. Technical hosting records may be
kept according to the provider’s policies. Voluntary messages should be kept
only for as long as reasonably necessary for the stated purpose or applicable
legal requirements.
The administrator should take reasonable steps to protect any personal
information under their control. No internet transmission or storage method can
be guaranteed completely secure.
8. Sharing and International Processing
The website operator should not disclose personal data for unrelated
marketing purposes without an applicable lawful basis. Necessary technical data
may be handled by service providers such as the web host, and information sent
through external services may be governed by their respective policies.
Depending on the hosting and service providers used, information may be
processed outside the Philippines, subject to applicable protections and
requirements.
9. Your Privacy Rights
Where the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 and related regulations apply,
data subjects may have rights including being informed, access, correction,
objection, and erasure or blocking in qualifying circumstances, as well as
other rights recognized by applicable law.
For data stored only in your own browser, you can generally remove it
directly through browser settings. To raise a concern about information held by
the administrator, use the privacy contact listed above. Requests will be
assessed under applicable law.
10. Younger Users
The Platform is intended for educational review and does not seek to
collect children’s personal information unnecessarily. If the site later adds
accounts or functions that collect personal information from minors, the
operator must review the applicable requirements before enabling those features.
11. Updates to This Notice
This Privacy Notice may be updated as the website’s features, providers, or
legal obligations change. The effective date displayed above should be revised
when the notice changes. Material changes to data handling may require additional
notice or consent under applicable law.
Before
publication, confirm your actual hosting, analytics, forms, and quiz-storage
behavior. A privacy notice must describe what the website really does—not just
what a template says.
